A lifelong musician, Scott Goldberg has been passionate about guitar and music since childhood. Scott is a composer, educator, film scorer and producer. He has his own blues band which also plays jazz, funk, rock, and other popular styles of music. Scott’s musical history is extensive.

Since playing his first professional gig at the age of twelve, he’s played with literally hundreds of world famous musicians, ranging from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members, to Grammy winning artists.

In 1996, Scott was offered the opportunity to play in the Jerry Garcia Band shortly after Jerry passed away. Some of the notable artists Scott has worked with include Bobby Kimball, the lead vocalist for the multi Grammy winning band “Toto,” and Bobby Cochran, guitarist for such bands as Leon Russell, Steppenwolf, and Bobby & The Midnights,  Over the years, he’s been on stage with Dickey Betts (Allman Brothers) Paul Stanley (KISS) Jeff Baxter, (Steely Dan) Spike Edney (Queen) Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) Simon Kirke (Bad Company) Artimus Pyle (Lynrd Skynrd) and many other members of RRHOF bands, as well as some of the greatest blues artists around like Andy Just (Robben Ford) and Garth Webber (Miles Davis). He currently works with many of the major blues artist in Northern CA, and he’s played with many well known country and jazz artists as well.

Scott is also a producer and engineer, and owns and operates a recording studio in Milpitas, CA. Scott co-wrote the entire musical film score for LionsGate movie “Full Clip” starring Bust-a-rhyme, Exhibit, Ellen Cleghorn and Bubba Smith. He’s lectured masters classes for film scoring at the University of Edinburgh Scotland, and he created the Pro Tools Certification Program at Foothill College in Northern CA.  CDs he’s produced and engineers won four CARA awards for two A Capella CDs that came out in 2004. These awards were for best collegiate CD of 2004 by Stanford’s “Everyday People.” This CD also took best female vocalist. Scott also worked on “Best Professional A Cappella CD of 2004” when he helped out on the “House Jacks” CD.
